On 5 October 2025, Miss Phu Thit Khin, a third-year student from the Thai Language and Culture for Foreigners Program, School of Liberal Arts, Mae Fah Luang University, participated in the 6th SX Youth Speech Contest under the theme “Adaptation and Collaboration for a Sustainable Future.” The contest was part of the SX Sustainability Expo 2025, Thailand’s largest event promoting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok.
Competing against more than 250 contestants from across Southeast Asia, Miss Phu Thit Khin achieved remarkable success by advancing to the Top 10 Finalists. The finalists represented Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, and the Philippines, reflecting the region’s shared commitment to sustainability and global citizenship.
Her accomplishment highlights the university’s ongoing efforts to promote the SDGs, particularly in Quality Education (SDG 4) and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).
Her achievement was mentored by our dedicated lecturers through the SoLA goes Global project. We encourage students of the School of Liberal Arts to access the SgG mentorship for more exciting international opportunities.
