Halloween 2025 – Traditions to Remember

Categories: Libaral Arts-Announcements

On October 31, 2025, the School of Liberal Arts, Mae Fah Luang University, hosted “Halloween: Traditions to Remember – Halloween Around the World” at the E1 Building, 1st Floor.

Although this year’s celebration was adjusted in respect of the mourning period for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, the event remained true to its goal — to learn about and reflect on cultural memorial practices around the world through interactive activities and presentations.

Participants explored global traditions of remembrance, engaged in cultural trivia, and shared perspectives on how different societies honor their loved ones and ancestors — fostering understanding, empathy, and cross-cultural awareness.

This activity also aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by promoting inclusive learning and intercultural dialogue.

The School of Liberal Arts extends its appreciation to everyone who joined and contributed to making this meaningful learning experience possible — reminding us that cultural exchange can take place with respect, remembrance, and unity.
