On 24 December 2025, the School of Liberal Arts extends its congratulations to Assistant Professor Dr. Suwichan Phatthanaphraiwan, a lecturer at the School of Liberal Arts, on receiving an honorable award at the MFU Research Expo 2025.
The award was presented for the research project entitled “New Generation Communicator Capacity Building to Reduce Ethnic Prejudice.”
The project focuses on developing the capacity of a new generation of communicators from 11 provinces, representing diverse ethnic groups including Pga K’nyau, Tai Yai, Lahu, and Lanna. Its objective is to establish a strong network of communicators capable of producing high-quality, socially responsible media that helps reduce ethnic bias and promotes equality and social inclusion in Chiang Rai Province and the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS).
This achievement reflects the School’s commitment to research that fosters social understanding, cultural diversity, and sustainable development aligning with our new motto "Where Diversity Meets Harmony."
