School of Liberal Arts Welcomes First-Year Students through “Meet the Dean 2026”

On July 30, 2026, the School of Liberal Arts, Mae Fah Luang University, hosted Meet the Dean, welcoming first-year students as they embarked on their university journey. The program was designed to familiarize students with the School's academic environment, campus resources, and support services while inspiring them to make the most of their university experience.

The event opened with welcoming remarks from the Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sorabud Rungrojsuwan, who encouraged students to embrace new opportunities, challenge themselves, and strive for both academic excellence and personal growth throughout their time at the University.

Adding excitement to the morning, the School of Liberal Arts Cheerleaders captivated the audience with an energetic opening performance that showcased their passion, creativity, and teamwork. Their vibrant performance reflected the strong spirit of the Liberal Arts community and offered first-year students a warm and memorable welcome to the School.

The program then introduced students to the School's bachelor's degree programs, with faculty members presenting the distinctive features, academic pathways, and learning opportunities available across each program. Students also took part in Pun Pun First Meet, an engaging session that introduced the University's library services and learning resources, encouraging them to make full use of the facilities and academic support available throughout their studies.

Students also received essential information about the MFU 333 course, academic advising, and scholarship opportunities, equipping them with valuable knowledge to plan their academic journey and make informed decisions throughout their university life.

The event concluded with students meeting their academic advisors for the first time, providing an opportunity to establish meaningful connections, receive personalized academic guidance, and begin their studies with confidence.

Meet the Dean reflected the School of Liberal Arts' commitment to supporting students from their very first day at the University by fostering a welcoming learning environment and equipping them with the knowledge, inspiration, and support needed to thrive both academically and personally.

เมื่อวันที่ 30 กรกฎาคม 2569 สำนักวิชาศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ได้จัดกิจกรรม Meet the Dean ณ อาคารพลตำรวจเอกเภา สารสิน (C5) เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1 ได้พบปะผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ และทำความรู้จักกับสำนักวิชาศิลปศาสตร์ในหลากหลายมิติ พร้อมเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับการเรียนและการใช้ชีวิตในระดับมหาวิทยาลัย

กิจกรรมเริ่มต้นด้วยการกล่าวต้อนรับและให้โอวาทแก่นักศึกษาใหม่โดย รศ. ดร.สรบุศย์ รุ่งโรจน์สุวรรณ์ คณบดีสำนักวิชาศิลปศาสตร์ ซึ่งได้ถ่ายทอดแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับการเรียนรู้ การพัฒนาตนเอง และการใช้ชีวิตในมหาวิทยาลัย พร้อมสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้นักศึกษากล้าเปิดรับโอกาสใหม่ ๆ มุ่งมั่นพัฒนาศักยภาพของตนเอง และก้าวสู่ความสำเร็จทั้งด้านวิชาการและการใช้ชีวิต

ภายในงานยังเต็มไปด้วยบรรยากาศแห่งความอบอุ่นและความมีชีวิตชีวาจากการแสดงเปิดเวทีของ ผู้นำเชียร์สำนักวิชาศิลปศาสตร์ ที่ถ่ายทอดพลัง ความคิดสร้างสรรค์ และความสามัคคีของชาวศิลปศาสตร์ได้อย่างน่าประทับใจ สร้างรอยยิ้มและความประทับใจให้แก่นักศึกษาใหม่ พร้อมตอกย้ำความเป็นครอบครัวของสำนักวิชาศิลปศาสตร์

จากนั้น คณาจารย์ประจำหลักสูตรได้ร่วมแนะนำหลักสูตรระดับปริญญาตรีของสำนักวิชา เพื่อให้นักศึกษาได้ทำความเข้าใจลักษณะการเรียน จุดเด่นของแต่ละหลักสูตร และแนวทางการพัฒนาศักยภาพตลอดระยะเวลาการศึกษา พร้อมทั้งเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม Pun Pun First Meet ซึ่งแนะนำการใช้บริการห้องสมุดและทรัพยากรการเรียนรู้ของมหาวิทยาลัย เพื่อให้นักศึกษาสามารถใช้ประโยชน์จากแหล่งเรียนรู้และบริการสนับสนุนต่าง ๆ ได้อย่างเต็มประสิทธิภาพตั้งแต่เริ่มต้นการศึกษา

นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการแนะนำรายวิชา MFU 333 การให้คำปรึกษาทางวิชาการ และข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับทุนการศึกษา ซึ่งเป็นข้อมูลสำคัญที่จะช่วยให้นักศึกษาสามารถวางแผนการเรียนและเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับการใช้ชีวิตในมหาวิทยาลัยได้อย่างมั่นใจ

ช่วงท้ายของกิจกรรม นักศึกษาได้พบกับอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาเป็นครั้งแรก เพื่อพูดคุย ทำความรู้จัก และรับคำแนะนำด้านการเรียนและการใช้ชีวิตในมหาวิทยาลัย อันเป็นการสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างอาจารย์และนักศึกษาตั้งแต่ก้าวแรกของการศึกษา

กิจกรรม Meet the Dean สะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของสำนักวิชาศิลปศาสตร์ในการดูแลและส่งเสริมนักศึกษาตั้งแต่วันแรกที่ก้าวเข้าสู่รั้วมหาวิทยาลัย ผ่านการสร้างสภาพแวดล้อมการเรียนรู้ที่อบอุ่น การสนับสนุนด้านวิชาการ และการส่งเสริมการพัฒนาศักยภาพรอบด้าน เพื่อให้นักศึกษาสามารถเติบโตเป็นบัณฑิตที่มีคุณภาพและพร้อมก้าวสู่สังคมโลกในอนาคต
