School of Liberal Arts Faculty Members Share Expertise in AI and English Language Teaching at International Academic Webinars

Faculty members from the School of Liberal Arts, Mae Fah Luang University, were invited to participate as speakers in the PDU Teacher Webinars, sharing expertise and innovative practices in English language teaching and AI-integrated education.

On 12 December 2025, Dr. Atima Kaewsa-ard, SFHEA, delivered a session entitled “SMART TOOLS FOR SMART TEACHING: Using AI to Create Teaching Materials.” The workshop introduced practical applications of AI in lesson planning, content creation, visualization and media design, as well as the development of interactive learning materials to enhance teaching effectiveness and learner engagement.

On 6 March 2026, Panida Monyanont presented on “Reflective Writing in English Courses,” highlighting the use of reflective writing to foster critical thinking skills in English classrooms. The session also introduced the TIP Model, inspired by frameworks such as Gibbs’ Reflective Cycle and the DEAL Model.

Furthermore, on 17 April 2026, Nattapat Suejam conducted a session titled “Encouraging Students’ Active Engagement with Teacher Feedback through a Dialogic Feedback Cover Sheet (DFCS).” The presentation focused on promoting learner autonomy, reflection, and active engagement through dialogic feedback approaches in EFL writing classrooms.

These activities reflect the School of Liberal Arts’ ongoing commitment to advancing innovative teaching practices and contributing to professional development in the international academic community
