LA-BYE: Safe in the Dark
Between the deadlines and the daily grind, we all need a second to just… breathe. ![]()
On April 4, the SoLA Student Association hosted LA-BYE: Safe in the Dark, an exhibition created by students for students to create a cozy, low-light sanctuary where we could actually sit with our feelings instead of running from them.
What went down:
Real Talk with Pros: We weren't alone in this! Huge thanks to Dr. Pimrat Boonyapak (Educational Psychology and Guidance Expert) and Khun Sayoomporn from the Counselling Service Center for offering private counselling sessions.
The Interactive Zone: No gatekeeping feelings here! We had interactive spots where everyone could share their thoughts, vent, and realize that we’re all navigating the same dark corners together.
Mindfulness & Chill: The vibe was all about slowing down, being present, and giving our mental health the VIP treatment it deserves.
The Takeaway:
Mental wellness isn't just a buzzword; it’s a lifestyle. We wanted to remind everyone that even when things feel "dark," there’s always a safe spot for you here at SoLA.
Huge shoutout to everyone who came through to share the energy. Let's keep looking out for each other!
